Tenders invited for site formation and engineering infrastructure works for Ngau Tam Mei New Development Area Contract 1

The works mainly include:
- site clearance and site formation (including land decontamination works) for about 55 hectares of land, together with the provision of associated engineering infrastructure;
- construction of carriageways including a single two-lane carriageway of about 650 metres long and a dual two-lane carriageway of about 1 780m long connecting to San Tam Road and Ngau Tam Mei Road;
- realignment of sections of existing Ngau Tam Mei Road;
- construction of a wetland of about 1.9 hectares between Tsing Long Highway and San Tam Road at Sha Po area;
- widening of a section of about 100m of Ngau Tam Mei Drainage Channel;
- construction of associated works including junction improvement works, footpaths, water supply system, sewerage system, drainage system, slope works, landscaping works, a community liaison centre office and other ancillary works; and
- implementation of environmental mitigation measures and an environmental monitoring and audit programme for the works mentioned above.
The works are scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2027 and will take about 35 months to complete.
The CEDD has commissioned AECOM - AIS Joint Venture to design and supervise the works. Interested contractors may download the tender forms and other particulars from the e-Tendering System (e-TS). Tenderers must submit tenders in electronic format via the e-TS.
