​The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) today (May 22) gazetted a notice to invite tenders for the contract for Site Formation and Infrastructure Works at Tai Kei Leng and Shap Pat Heung, Yuen Long (Contract No. CV/2026/01). The closing time for the tender is noon on July 17.

     The works mainly comprise:

(1) site formation of about 5 hectares of land and construction of associated retaining walls and slopes;
(2) road improvement works at Shap Pat Heung Interchange; 
(3) widening of Long Ho Road; and
(4) ancillary works including water supply, drainage, sewerage and landscaping works. 

     The works are scheduled to commence in December 2026 and will take about 48 months to complete.

     The CEDD has commissioned Binnies Hong Kong Limited to design and supervise the works. Interested contractors can download the tender forms and other particulars from the e-Tendering System (e-TS). Tenderers must submit tenders in electronic format via the e-TS.
