One more man in connection with murder and wounding case in Tsim Sha Tsui arrested

     Police arrested a 28-year-old man in Tuen Mun on May 4. He was in suspected connection with a murder and wounding case in Tsim Sha Tsui on October 6, 2020 in which a then 36-year-old man died.

     The arrested man has been laid a holding charge with one count of murder. The case will be mentioned at Kowloon City Magistrates’ Courts this afternoon (May 6).

     Concerning the aforementioned case, Police arrested 12 men and one woman between October, 2020 and November, 2022. Among them, eight men were each charged with the relevant offences. The High Court will hand down sentences to the defendants in the case today. The other four men and one woman have been released unconditionally upon investigation.
     
     Active investigation by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West is under way.
