The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) today (April 17) gazetted a notice to invite tenders for the contract for Management of Sediment Disposal Facility to the West of Lamma Island (Contract No. CV/2025/03). The closing time for the tender is noon on May 29.

     The works mainly include:
 

• Forming a new contaminated sediment disposal facility in the waters to the west of Lamma Island;
• Management of contaminated sediment disposal activities; and
• Implementing the Environmental Monitoring and Audit programme.

     The works are scheduled to commence in August 2026 and will take about 60 months to complete.

     Interested contractors can download the tender forms and other particulars from the e-Tendering System (e-TS). Tenderers must submit tenders in electronic format via the e-TS.
