Energising seniors via active ageing
************************************
To be officially opened in mid-March, Ching Fu Jolly Net - a new neighbourhood elderly centre in Tsing Yi subsidised by the Social Welfare Department and operated by Po Leung Kuk - offers a wide range of programmes such as e-sports, yoga and latte art workshops. The centre aims to challenge traditional stereotypes of elderly care and meet the expectations of the elderly, particularly younger seniors in the community.
News.gov.hk interviewed a representative from Po Leung Kuk, who provided insights into the services delivered at the centre, and its objectives. Additionally, elderly participants shared their thoughts on the services they have received.
The story is available at www.news.gov.hk/eng/feature from today (March 15) in text and video format.
