Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tai Po today (February 15) in which a man died.

     At 10.30am, the 49-year-old man was riding a bicycle along Bride’s Pool Road towards Tai Po. When approaching a barbecue site, the bicycle reportedly rammed into a kerb.

     Sustaining head injuries, the man was rushed to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 11.36am.
      
     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is under way.
