Tender awarded for site in Ngau Tau Kok

     The Lands Department announced today (February 10) that the tender for a site, New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6675 at Choi Ha Road, Ngau Tau Kok, Kowloon, has been awarded to the highest tenderer, Maxjet Company Limited (parent company: China Overseas Land & Investment Limited), on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $1,806,880,000.

     The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order, with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets, were:
(1) Century Ace Development Limited (Henderson Land Development Company Limited);
(2) Excellent Champ Limited (Sino Land Company Limited and Great Eagle Holdings Limited);
(3) Keen Point Limited;
(4) Mid-Levels Portfolio (Tregunter Towers 1 & 2) Limited (Kerry Properties Limited);
(5) Newton Investments Limited (CK Asset Holdings Limited);
(6) Pacific Great International Limited (Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited);
(7) Strong Associate Limited (K. Wah International Holdings Limited); and
(8) Zarow Limited (Wheelock Properties Limited).

     New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6675 has a site area of about 3 132 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area is 16 913 sq m. The maximum gross floor area for private residential purposes that may be attained is 23 490 sq m. The maximum gross floor area for non-industrial (excluding private residential, godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes is computed according to the relevant special condition in the Conditions of Sale.
