​The Labour Department (LD) will hold a public talk entitled "Prevention of Upper Limb Disorders" on February 2 (Monday) at 3.30pm at the Lecture Theatre of the Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay. The talk will introduce the causes and preventive measures of upper limb disorders to enhance employees' awareness of the issues. Demonstrations and the practice of workplace exercises will also be included.

     The LD will hold another talk, entitled "Occupational Stress" on February 11 (Wednesday) at 3.30pm in the Health Education Room, Occupational Safety and Health Centre of the LD, G/F, Kwun Tong Community Health Centre Building, 60 Hip Wo Street, Kwun Tong. The talk will introduce the symptoms and health impacts of occupational stress as well as some stress-coping strategies.

     Both talks will be given by the LD's occupational health nurse in Cantonese. Admission is free but pre-registration is required. Interested parties can register online (www.oshsreg.gov.hk/en). For enquiries, please call 2852 4040.
