The service point of Mobile Library 6 at Shau Kei Wan Market on Shau Kei Wan Main Street East will cease service from January 29, a spokesman for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (January 22).

     Readers are welcome to use library facilities and services at the Yiu Tung Public Library at Yiu Tung Estate in Shau Kei Wan. The opening hours of the library are from 10am to 7pm from Mondays to Wednesdays and on Fridays, from 10am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and from 10am to 1pm on public holidays. Readers are also welcome to use the service point at Oi Tung Estate in Aldrich Bay. The opening hours of the service point are from 10am to 1pm every alternate Tuesday, and from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm on Thursdays, except public holidays.

     In addition, the service periods of mobile library service points at Heng Fa Chuen in Chai Wan and Tai Hong Street in Lei King Wan will be extended starting from March 2. For the service point at Heng Fa Chuen, the additional service period will be from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm on Mondays, and for the service point at Lei King Wan, the additional service period will be from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm on Wednesdays, except public holidays.
