Design industry exchange networking event of DX GRAVITY: Design connects GBA exhibition sponsored by CCIDA and organised by Hong Kong Design Centre held

Sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) under the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau and organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre, the design industry exchange networking event of the DX GRAVITY: Design connects GBA (DX GRAVITY) exhibition was held today (January 16) at the DX design hub in Sham Shui Po. As one of the important activities of the DX GRAVITY exhibition, the networking event provided a platform for designers, brands, and organisation representatives across the Greater Bay Area to connect, fostering creative and business collaboration opportunities.

Speaking at the event, Acting Commissioner for Cultural and Creative Industries Miss Yvonne Ip remarked that the Hong Kong Design Centre has long been a close strategic partner of the Government in promoting design and related cultural and creative industries. CCIDA will continue working hand in hand with the Hong Kong Design Centre to promote more in-depth cross-sectoral and cross-disciplinary collaborations, driving Hong Kong's design industry to go global and explore more business opportunities.

Now in its third consecutive year, the DX GRAVITY exhibition aims to connect and build cohesion across cities in the Greater Bay Area through design. This year, it brings together more than 20 design talents from Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan and Dongguan, showcasing achievements across five categories, namely fashion and trends, industrial technology, intangible cultural heritage and creative industries, lifestyle, and interactive experience. The exhibition runs until March 2 and is open to the public free of charge.
