Construction robots enhance efficiency

For the Trunk Road T2 and Cha Kwo Ling Tunnel project, the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) has applied innovative technologies including construction robots to enhance efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness. In addition, the Development Bureau (DEVB) will shortly introduce a policy to require public works projects to adopt suitable, highly effective construction robots.

News.gov.hk spoke to representatives from the DEVB, the CEDD and the project's consultancy company who explained the technology and benefits of construction robots.
