No. 3 alarm fire in Central (2)

A fire broke out at a building on Connaught Road Central in Central at 4.24pm today (October 18) and was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 4.36pm. The fire was surrounded at 5.46pm.

Firemen used two jets and mobilised three breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze. About 30 persons were self-evacuated to places of safety.

Three persons felt unwell and were sent to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment respectively.
