HKTE strengthens global promotion and talent attraction efforts with new Director to assume office (with photo)

     A spokesman for Hong Kong Talent Engage (HKTE) said today (September 29) that Mr Felix Chan Hoi-king will assume the position of Director of HKTE with effect from Thursday (October 2).

     The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Chris Sun, welcomed Mr Chan to HKTE, stating, "Talent is the prime resource. We look to Mr Chan to lead HKTE in proactively recruiting, attracting and retaining talent, supporting Hong Kong's development into an international hub for high-calibre talent."

     Following his assumption of the position, Mr Chan will lead HKTE on visits to Mainland cities such as Beijing as well as overseas countries including the United Kingdom and Switzerland, etc in October with a view to strengthening its global promotion and talent attraction efforts. HKTE will engage with local working partners, renowned universities, chambers of commerce and trade associations, while bringing together Hong Kong enterprises to match with local talent as well as promote to them Hong Kong's advantages and opportunities.

     Mr Chan possesses rich experience in promoting Hong Kong and business management. He was the General Manager of Business Development at the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) from 2020 to 2025. Prior to his tenure at HKTB, he held various management positions in the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and multinational corporations.
