The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (September 26) that the facilities of Sha Tin District in the list below will be temporarily closed to support the organisation of the 15th National Games Handball (Men) and to facilitate preparations for the launching of the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games The Hong Kong Jockey Club Trophy Wheelchair Fencing Competition.
 

Venue	Closure Period	Remarks
Ma On Shan Sports Centre (MOSSC)	October 16 - November 10	All facilities of the Sports Centre will be temporarily closed
	November 11 - December 19	All facilities of the Sports Centre and the adjoining piazza will be temporarily closed
Car park at Ma On Shan Swimming Pool	December 4 - 15	All parking spaces will be temporarily closed

 
     During the above period, members of the public may use similar facilities of the other sports centres in the same district.
