
Suspension of Immigration Services owing to Tropical Cyclone

The Immigration Department announced that due to the hoisting of the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8, services at the Registration of Persons - Kwun Tong (Temporary) Office and the Personal Documentation Submission Kiosks and Personal Documentation Collection Kiosks at the Immigration Headquarters will be suspended today (September 24).
Members of the public who have made appointments but were unable to apply for identity cards at the Registration of Persons Offices as scheduled due to the hoisting of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above may approach the relevant offices on any subsequent working day for applications without the need to make a new appointment. Subject to the situation of the day, the waiting time for processing may be longer. To avoid overcrowding, members of the public need not rush to the offices for service on the day of resumption of service.
