The Marine Department today (September 23) announced that as the Hong Kong Observatory is expected to issue the Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 at 2.20pm, seven Marine Offices under the department, located in Aberdeen, Shau Kei Wan, Yau Ma Tei, Tuen Mun, Tai Po, Sai Kung, and Cheung Chau will suspend services after the end of office hours this morning. The Central Marine Office will continue to provide services until Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 comes into effect.
