Announcement by Judiciary on arrangements during Tropical Cyclone Warning
*************************************************************************
The following is issued on behalf of the Judiciary:

The Judiciary has announced that, because of the issuance of the Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement indicating that the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 will be issued at 2.20pm today (September 23), all court and tribunal hearings this afternoon will be adjourned. If the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is still in force at 6am tomorrow (September 24), hearings will remain adjourned tomorrow morning. The arrangement for adjourned hearings will be separately announced.

Court/tribunal registries and offices will be closed after the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is issued until further notice. Court users may continue to use the integrated Court Case Management System (iCMS) for those electronic services that have been implemented at individual court/tribunal registries as usual. Any documents filed via the iCMS during the registries' closure will be deemed received upon their reopening.
