The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (September 22) that Shek O Beach and Big Wave Bay Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island, are temporarily closed until further notice for maintenance of the shark prevention nets. Red flags have been hoisted at these beaches. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at the beaches.
