The Department of Health (DH) today (September 11) noted that false information is circulating online alleging that three Elderly Health Centres (EHCs) under the DH would distribute free travel-sized milk powder samples for joint health. A DH spokesman clarified that this information is completely untrue. The DH has reported the incident to the Police.

     The DH stated that the milk powder brand in question and its products have no affiliation with the DH. The EHCs under the DH will not distribute any samples on behalf of any brands. 

     The DH has reported the matter to the relevant social media platform and has reserved the right to pursue legal action.
