The Hong Kong Observatory issued No. 8 Southeast Gale or Storm Signal at 9.20pm last night (September 7).

     As at 5.20am today (September 8), the Home Affairs Department has opened 29 temporary shelters in various districts and 211 people have sought refuge at the shelters.

     As at 5am today, the Government's 1823 Call Centre has received one report of fallen trees. No report of landslide or flooding has been received so far. 

     According to the Hospital Authority, as at 4am today, one male has sought medical treatment at the Accident and Emergency Department at a public hospital during the typhoon period.
