Announcement by Judiciary on arrangements during Tropical Cyclone Warning
*************************************************************************
The following is issued on behalf of the Judiciary:

The Judiciary has announced that, as the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 was still in force at 6am, all court and tribunal hearings will be adjourned this morning (September 8).

If the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is cancelled before 11am, adjourned hearings will be resumed at 2.30pm today whereas other hearings this afternoon will be held as scheduled. If the signal is still in force at 11am, hearings will remain adjourned this afternoon.

Court/tribunal registries and offices are closed and will reopen as soon as practicable within two hours after the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is cancelled. Court users may continue to use the integrated Court Case Management System (iCMS) for those electronic services which have been implemented at individual court/tribunal registries as usual. Any documents filed via the iCMS during the registries' closure will be deemed to have been received upon their reopening.
