Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok this afternoon (September 7) in which a man died.

     At about 5pm, a taxi driven by a 57-year-old man was travelling along Kai Fuk Road towards Tsim Sha Tsui. When getting near Shing Yau Street, the taxi reportedly went out of control and rammed into a kerb.

     Sustaining no superficial injury, the taxi driver was rushed to the United Christian Hospital in unconscious state, and was certified dead at 5.36pm.

     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East is underway.
