Enhancing travel experiences is one of the key aspects of the Government's district governance measures, and the authorities are implementing works at various public transport interchanges across all 18 districts. This includes the installation last year of a waiting hall, equipped with air conditioning and seating, at the Ma On Shan Town Centre Public Transport Terminus. What is more, the second phase of enhancement works is expected to be completed in 2026.

     News.gov.hk spoke with a representative from the Transport Department to learn about the upgrading project at that terminus, as well as enhancement works at other locations across Hong Kong.
