​Technology funded by InnoHK and developed by the Microbiota I-Center has been successful in leveraging artificial intelligence to cure Clostridioides difficile infection. Known as MOZAIC, the technology's use has been expanded to all Hospital Authority clusters, benefitting 48 patients as of May this year.

     News.gov.hk spoke to the Commissioner for Innovation and Technology, Mr Ivan Lee about InnoHK's commitment to helping research teams translate their findings into practical applications, and to Microbiota I-Center Co-Director, Professor Francis Chan about MOZAIC's success.
