The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) will issue Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 between 12 am to 2 am tomorrow (July 20), and expects that adverse weather will persist during the day tomorrow. Considering the latest development and the HKO's forecast of the tropical cyclone, the Education Bureau (EDB) announces that classes of all day schools, including secondary schools, primary schools, special schools, kindergartens, and kindergartens-cum-child care centres, will be suspended tomorrow in order to ensure students' safety. If classes of evening schools are required to be suspended tomorrow, the EDB will make the announcement in due course depending on the development of the tropical cyclone.
