
Appointments to Elderly Commission announced

The Government announced today (July 18) the reappointment of 14 incumbent members, as well as the appointment of one new member, Mr Lee Shing-kan, to the Elderly Commission (EC). Their appointments will take effect from July 30, 2025, for a term of two years.
The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Chris Sun, said, "The EC has consistently provided valuable advice to the Government on formulating elderly care policies and measures. Members reappointed and newly appointed will bring diverse backgrounds and extensive experience to enhance the Commission's effectiveness. We will continue to work closely with the Commission to dedicate our efforts to serving the elderly of Hong Kong."
Mr Sun also thanked the outgoing member, Miss Yu Chui-yee, for her active participation in the work of the EC in the past.
