Smart devices slash water waste

     The Water Supplies Department has commissioned the University of Hong Kong's Centre for Water Technology and Policy to launch the Water-smart Taskforce Programme that helps people to reduce water wastage with the use of artificial intelligence-powered technology. Due to its success so far, over 80 per cent of the first batch of domestic participants have been able to reduce their water consumption.

     News.gov.hk spoke with the representatives from the department and the centre to learn about how the programme makes use of such beneficial technology.
