Fulfilling police career goals

The Police Force is proudly training young people who dream of becoming police officers via a new training initiative, the Diploma of Applied Education - Police Cadet Training Programme, which was launched last year.

News.gov.hk interviewed the Commissioner of Police, Mr Chow Yat-ming, who shared his experience in getting the programme up and running and witnessing the growth of its trainees. Plus, members of the first cohort were also interviewed to gain an appreciation for how the programme helps young people prepare for a career in the Police Force.
