Care teams' selfless aid applauded

     As announced in the 2024 Policy Address, the Government will regularise the establishment of District Services and Community Care Teams and increase their funding by 50 per cent in the next term of service to strengthen support for such care teams.

     As a fine example of how the funding is put to good use, the Cheung Sha Wan Sub-district Care Team came to the rescue of one resident in need after a fire caused severe water damage to his apartment.

     News.gov.hk interviewed the affected individual and a care team member to hear about the unwavering support rendered by the care team.
