"e-HongKongGuide" 2025 available for free download (with photos)
**************************************************************************
The electronic map "e-HongKongGuide" 2025 edition produced by the Lands Department (LandsD) is available for free download today (January 23).

This year's edition features cycling in Hong Kong. Through the use of spatial data and statistics, the new interactive storytelling map promotes cycling and cycling safety, and introduces the ongoing development of the cycling network to showcase the use of open spatial data from the Common Spatial Data Infrastructure Portal.

The "e-HongKongGuide" provides 119 detailed maps of Hong Kong in A3/A4 sizes, gazetteers of street and place names, and indexes of estates and buildings. The maps cover the whole territory of Hong Kong, with urban areas and other built-up areas represented on a larger scale. This year's edition also includes information about tram stations.

The maps, in GeoPDF format, can be used offline on desktop computers and mobile device applications, and can be printed in A3/A4 sizes. Users can easily locate their positions on the "e-HongKongGuide" maps with satellite positioning functions. In addition, link buttons to relevant maps have been extended to the mobile device application this year for easy browsing.

The new "e-HongKongGuide" is available for browsing and free download on the LandsD's website (www.landsd.gov.hk/mapping/en/download/ehkg.htm). For enquiries, please call 2231 3187.
