
Police hold on-site interview sessions at Education and Careers Expo (with photos)

The Hong Kong Police Force has set up a booth at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre for four consecutive days from today (January 16), to showcase the multi-faceted and professional nature of the Force, and to provide the public with the latest recruitment information. To facilitate application, on-site group interview sessions for Police Constables will also be held.
Visitors interested in joining the Force may attend on-site group interview sessions for Police Constables. Participants who successfully pass the interview could be exempted from relevant assessments if they formally apply to join the Force within three months. Officers from the Recruitment Division will answer recruitment-related inquiries and accept applications on the spot. Moreover, officers from various Police units and secondary duty cadres will showcase their equipment and share with the visitors their daily work. Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience laser shooting on site.
Demonstration sessions of Police units are as follows:
January 16 (Thursday):
10am to 2.30pm – Force Escort Group, Counter Terrorism Response Unit, Police Dog Unit
2.30pm to 7pm – Emergency Unit, Anti-Deception Coordination Centre, Weapon Training Division
January 17 (Friday):
10am to 2.30pm – Technical Services Division, Police Tactical Unit, Force Rope Access Cadre
2.30pm to 7pm – Airport Security Unit (Dog Unit), Weapon Training Division, Quick Reaction Force
January 18 (Saturday):
10am to 2.30pm – Technical Services Division, Police Dog Unit, Force Search Unit
2.30pm to 7pm – Force Escort Group, Police Negotiation Cadre, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau
January 19 (Sunday):
10am to 2.30pm – Emergency Unit, Force Rope Access Cadre, Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau
2.30pm to 6pm – Force Escort Group, Airport Security Unit (Dog Unit), Marine (Small Boat Division)
Members of the public who are interested in joining the Force as Probationary Inspector, Recruit Police Constable or Police Constable (Auxiliary) can submit applications on spot.
