Tender awarded for site in Sha Tin

     The Lands Department announced today (October 29) that the tender for a site, Sha Tin Town Lot No. 625 at the junction of Sha Tin Wai Road and Siu Lek Yuen Road, Siu Lek Yuen, Sha Tin, New Territories, has been awarded to the highest tenderer, Keen Mighty Limited (parent company: Chinachem Group Holdings Limited), on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $1,021,165,000.

     The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order, with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets, were:

(1) Century Mark Investments Limited (CK Asset Holdings Limited);
(2) Excellent Champ Limited (Sino Land Company Limited);
(3) Harbour Knight Investments Limited (Wheelock Properties Limited);
(4) Keen Point Limited; and
(5) Pacific Great International Limited (Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited).

     Sha Tin Town Lot No. 625 has a site area of about 5 652 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 16 956 sq m and 28 260 sq m respectively.
