Appointments to Consumer Council

     The Government announced today (December 22) the appointment of five new members and the reappointment of two incumbent members to the Consumer Council for a term of two years with effect from January 1, 2024.

     The new members are Professor Chung Chi-yung, Mr Ma Tak-yan, Professor Jack Poon Sik-ching, Ms Siu Suk-yu and Mr Andy Wong Man-kit. The reappointed incumbent members are Ms Veronica Fung Kit-ming and Ms Miranda Kwan Ching-yi.

     In addition, the Government expressed gratitude to the outgoing members, namely Dr Catherine Chan Po-ling, Dr Wilton Fok Wai-tung, Ms Kitty Lee Wing-lan, Mr Raymond Mak Ka-chun and Mr Siu King-wai, who are about to complete their tenure, for their contributions to various aspects of the Council's work.
