Commissioner of Customs and Excise attends "Customs YES" National Day celebration event (with photos)

    ​The Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Ms Louise Ho, today (October 15) attended a "Customs YES" National Day celebration event - "Starry Road" movie screening and sharing session and interacted with the "Customs YES" youth members, their families and friends. Other guests included members of the Executive Committee and the Honorary Presidents' Association of "Customs YES", and directorates of Hong Kong Customs.
 
     In her welcoming remarks, Ms Ho said, "'Customs YES' aims to enable youth members understand that success is never easy through this National Day celebration event. You may encounter difficulties in study or career, but perseverance and an indomitable spirit can help you embark on the road to success. Never give up in face of obstacles or failure. Rather, you should adjust your mindset and strategies and continue to advance towards your goals and achieve your dreams."
 
     Ms Evonne Shuai, representing the producers of "Starry Road", was also invited to share the behind-the-scenes stories of the movie's production with the audience. After watching the movie, many participating "Customs YES" members expressed that the movie made them realise that Hong Kong is a fortunate place, and they will treasure the available resources and opportunities to learn and equip themselves for a prosperous future.
 
     "Customs YES" has all along organised diverse activities including exchange tours to different provinces and cities on the Mainland, and the Greater Bay Area Summer Internship Program, that allow members to learn about the latest developments and achievements of the country.
