Hongkong Post to issue "Hong Kong Landscape - Mountains" special stamps (with photos)

Hong Kong is a small city with a variety of great scenic beauty, and is home to towering and steep mountains. Mountains come in all shapes and sizes with unique features. Some are overlapping mountain ranges while others are isolated peaks.
Hongkong Post will issue a set of six stamps, two stamp sheetlets and associated philatelic products on the theme of "Hong Kong Landscape - Mountains" to showcase the spectacular landscape of mountains in Hong Kong, including Lion Rock, Sharp Peak, High Junk Peak, Dragon's Back, Yi Tung Shan, Lantau Peak, Pyramid Hill and Wan Kuk Shan. The stamp design is based on the city's picturesque mountain landscape captured through the lens of Kelvin Yuen, a famous young photographer in Hong Kong.
Official first day covers for "Hong Kong Landscape - Mountains" will be on sale at all post offices and on Hongkong Post's online shopping mall ShopThruPost (shopthrupost.hongkongpost.hk) from tomorrow (October 11). This set of special stamps and associated philatelic products will be on sale at all post offices and ShopThruPost from October 26, while serviced first day covers affixed with the special stamps and collector packs will be available at philatelic offices only.
Hongkong Post will arrange an autograph session of the "Hong Kong Landscape - Mountains" special stamps for Yuen the photographer to autograph associated philatelic products at the General Post Office from 9.30am to 10.30am on October 26. Interested persons may visit the Hongkong Post Stamps website (stamps.hongkongpost.hk) for details.
A hand-back date-stamping service will be provided on October 26 at all post offices for official first day covers/souvenir covers/privately made covers bearing the first day of issue indication and a local address. Collection points will be set up at all post offices on the same day for submission of the covers requesting the hand-back date-stamping service.
