Hongkong Post announces sale of Mainland, Macao and overseas philatelic products (with photos)
******************************************************************************************
Hongkong Post announced today (October 10) that selected philatelic products issued by China Post, Macao Post and Telecommunications and the overseas postal administrations of Australia, Isle of Man, Japan, Liechtenstein, New Zealand and the United Kingdom will be available for sale from October 12 (Thursday).

China Post issued special stamps featuring the art piece "The Knickknack Peddler" by painter Li Song of the Song dynasty. The meticulously printed stamps vividly present a scene of a knickknack peddler joyfully welcoming women and children in the street, which perfectly recreate the essence of the painting. In addition, Macao Post and Telecommunications issued a set of stamps on the theme of "Lou Pan Temples", capturing the unique and beautiful historic buildings of the temple and presenting the local culture of worshipping Master Lou Pan.

As for other overseas philatelic products, Royal Mail's "River Wildlife" features 10 animals inhabiting rivers and streams in the United Kingdom, celebrating the remarkable diversity of birds, mammals, insects and fish in the unique natural environment of the country. New Zealand Post's special stamp issue celebrates the 100th anniversary of the independent conservation organisation Forest & Bird. In addition, Isle of Man Post's special stamp issue showcases the natural beauty of glens and waterfalls in the Isle of Man. All these products are highly collectable and should not be missed, especially by philatelists who are fond of nature.

The selected philatelic products will be available for sale at the Hongkong Post online shopping mall ShopThruPost (shopthrupost.hongkongpost.hk) starting from 8am on October 12, while stocks last. These products will also be available at the General Post Office, Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office and Sha Tin Central Post Office on the same day. Details of each product, the prices and sales quotas are set out in the Appendix. For further information, members of the public may visit the Hongkong Post Stamps website (stamps.hongkongpost.hk) or call the Hongkong Post Philatelic Bureau hotline at 2785 5711.
