Display period of Heritage Museum's "Bruce Lee: a Timeless Classic" pop-up display at Hong Kong Heritage Museum adjusted

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (October 9) that due to a rearrangement of programmes, the "Bruce Lee: a Timeless Classic" pop-up display being held at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum (HKHM) will end on December 4, instead of January 1 next year. Members of the public are urged to grasp the opportunity to visit this pop-up display at the HKHM located at 1 Man Lam Road, Sha Tin. Visitors are also welcome to visit the "A Man Beyond the Ordinary: Bruce Lee" exhibition at 2/F Thematic Gallery 6 of the museum to further appreciate the legend of Bruce Lee.
      
     Located at 1/F Function Place of the museum, the "Bruce Lee: a Timeless Classic" pop-up display showcases some of the finest of Lee in popular culture, including publications, commemorative stamps and figures. Highlight exhibits include a commemorative calendar card for the premiere of the film "The Way of the Dragon" in 1973, publications about Lee's Jeet Kune Do and his films, Lee's memorial photo album, a Lee life-size bust and a "Bruce Lee's Legacy in the World of Martial Arts" presentation pack.
      
     The "A Man Beyond the Ordinary: Bruce Lee" exhibition will continue to be staged at 2/F Thematic Gallery 6 of the museum. Admission is free. In collaboration with the Bruce Lee Foundation, this exhibition, launched in 2021, features around 400 exhibits including Lee memorabilia and photos, a large-scale immersive light and sensory installation "Self.Martial Arts.Emptiness" and other interactive programmes. Through his films, martial arts and life philosophy, visitors will be able to revisit the legend of Lee.
