Fatal traffic accident in Tin Sum

At 8.46am, a coach driven by a 54-year-old man was travelling along Chik Wan Street towards Mei Tin Road and reportedly knocked down the 86-year-old man who was crossing the road.
Sustaining limbs injuries, the man was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state and certified dead at 9.42am.
The coach driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
