Tenders invited for Kai Tak Development - Construction of Open Spaces near Kai Tak River

The works mainly include:
- 1. Construction of three adjoining open spaces, with a total area of about 8 700 square metres in Area 2 of Kai Tak Development, including landscaping, a water feature, pedestrian walkways and drainage works; and
- 2. Construction of an open space with an area of about 7 800 sq m on both sides of Kai Tak River in the section between Kai Tak Station Square and Olympic Avenue, including landscaping, viewing platforms, bicycle tracks, pedestrian walkways, a footbridge across the Kai Tak River, drainage works, and the ancillary facilities.
The works are scheduled to commence in December this year and will take about 31 months to complete.
The CEDD has commissioned K C Tang Consultants Limited for the quantity surveying and preparation of tender documents. Interested contractors may obtain the forms of tender and further information from K C Tang Consultants Limited at 7/F, Greatmany Centre, 111 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai.
