SCST to visit Hangzhou and Hengdian

     The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, will depart for Hangzhou on July 30 (Sunday). He will meet with officials of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Zhejiang Province, pay visits to authorities and organisations responsible for culture, tourism and sports issues, and have a work meeting with the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 Organising Committee. Mr Yeung will depart for the city of Dongyang on August 2 to visit the Hengdian World Studios and meet with Hong Kong film industry practitioners.

     During the visit, Mr Yeung will also join the delegation of the Legislative Council Panel on Home Affairs, Culture and Sports in some of the programmes in Hangzhou.

     Mr Yeung will return to Hong Kong on August 3 (Thursday) afternoon. During his absence, the Under Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Raistlin Lau, will be the Acting Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism.
