LegCo Panel on Economic Development visits Hong Kong International Airport (with photos)

The Legislative Council (LegCo) Panel on Economic Development visited the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) today (July 11) to understand the latest development and operations of HKIA.
Members first met representatives of Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) and proceeded to the HKIA Tower balcony to have a panoramic view of the airport with the company of representatives of the Transport and Logistics Bureau and AAHK. Members received a briefing by the Chief Executive Officer of AAHK, Mr Fred Lam, on the planned development projects of HKIA.
Members then toured the Integrated Airport Centre to learn about the operations of the airport. During the visit, Members took a ride on the autonomous vehicle and were briefed by representatives of AAHK on its operation at HKIA.
Members who participated in the visit were the Panel Chairman, Mr Sunny Tan; the Deputy Chairman, Dr So Cheung-wing; and Panel members Mr Robert Lee, Mr Lam San-keung, Mr Andrew Lam, Mr Chan Siu-hung and Mr Edmund Wong; as well as non-Panel member Mr Gary Zhang.
