Proprietor fined for violation of safety legislation

     ​Poly Sky Limited was fined $70,000 at Fanling Magistrates' Courts today (May 23) for violation of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance. The prosecution was launched by the Labour Department.
 
     The case involved a fatal accident that occurred on October 26, 2022, at a warehouse in Sheung Shui. It was suspected that a company director fell from a mobile platform ladder to the ground during unloading work. He sustained a head injury and passed away the next day.
