HA shopping centres to hold promotion activities on Mother's Day (with photos)
******************************************************************************
The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Housing Authority:

The Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) strives to provide a wide range of activities in its shopping centres to enhance the provision of services to the public and offer quality shopping experiences. The HA will launch promotions in its shopping centres for Mother's Day (May 14) with a view to expressing gratitude to mothers, and enhancing the popularity as well as stimulating sales at the shopping facilities.

"The public may join the activities in the HA's shopping centres on Mother's Day to express love for their mother," a spokesman for the HA said today (May 5).

At Domain, the HA's regional shopping mall in Yau Tong, Kowloon, the atrium has been decorated as a floral garden with blooming blossoms and in particular, there is a huge vase in the centre with a variety of colourful flowers in it. The vase is marked with an HA logo commemorating the 50th anniversary of its establishment. In addition, a rose decoration with neon lights has been installed at the roof garden, providing customers and members of the public with photo-shooting "check-in" spots with their mothers.

In the afternoon of May 13 (Saturday), two workshops, namely the 3D Greeting Card Workshop and the Workshop of Handmade Carpet, will be organised at Domain. Domain Club members spending specific amounts may join the workshops subject to space availabilities. During the afternoon of Mothers Day (May 14), carnations will be given out to visitors at Domain while stocks last.

As for the HA's other shopping centres, shoppers may redeem gifts at the 16 shopping centres below subject to spending requirements and availability on a first-come, first-served basis from 3pm to 7pm on May 13 and May 14 (Sunday). On Mother's Day, visitors to these 16 shopping centres may receive free soap carnations from 1pm to 3pm.
