Draft Tsz Wan Shan, Diamond Hill and San Po Kong Outline Zoning Plan approved
*****************************************************************************
The Chief Executive in Council has approved the draft Tsz Wan Shan, Diamond Hill and San Po Kong Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).

"The approved OZP provides a statutory land use planning framework to guide the development and redevelopment within the Tsz Wan Shan, Diamond Hill and San Po Kong area," a spokesperson for the Town Planning Board said today (May 5).

The planning scheme area, covering about 325 hectares, is located in Kowloon East within Wong Tai Sin District. It is bounded by Hammer Hill to the east and southeast, Unicorn Ridge and Temple Hill to the north, Lion Rock to the west and the Kai Tak area to the south.

The approved OZP has incorporated amendments shown on the draft Tsz Wan Shan, Diamond Hill and San Po Kong OZP No. S/K11/30, which mainly involve the rezoning of a site in Chuk Yuen United Village together with a site to its west abutting Shatin Pass Road from "Government, Institution or Community" ("G/IC") and an area shown as 'Road' to "Residential (Group A) 4" for public housing development with provision of government, institution or community facilities, and the rezoning of a strip of land within the Wong Tai Sin Square from "G/IC" to "Open Space".

Opportunity is also taken to amend the Notes and Explanatory Statement of the OZP to reflect the above amendments and to update the general information of various land use zonings and the planning circumstances, where appropriate.

The approved Tsz Wan Shan, Diamond Hill and San Po Kong OZP No. S/K11/31 is available for public inspection during office hours at (i) the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, (ii) the Planning Enquiry Counters, (iii) the Kowloon District Planning Office and (iv) the Wong Tai Sin District Office.

â€‹Copies of the approved OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Town Planning Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
