Fatal traffic accident in Tsim Sha Tsui

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in Tsim Sha Tsui in the small hours today (April 22), in which a 54-year-old man died.

     At about 2.12am, a private car driven by a 42-year-old non-ethnic Chinese man was travelling along Salisbury Road towards Hung Hom. When approaching the junction with Mody Lane, the car reportedly rolled over the 54-year-old man who was lying on the ground.

     Sustaining serious head injuries, the 54-year-old man was certified dead at scene.

     The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and failing to provide breath specimen for screening. He is being detained for further enquiries.

     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West is underway.
