Local indie pop music concerts "Indie Debut" under Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival 2023 to be staged in May
******************************************************************************************
Three indie pop concerts that make up "Indie Debut" under the Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival 2023, which is organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), will be staged in May. Ten local young indie musicians and music groups of various styles will go on stage for the first time to showcase their talents in composing and singing, and share their creativity and ideas with audiences through their original songs.

The "Indie Debut" concerts are produced and curated by veteran musician Chiu Tsang-hei. Performing units include indie folk singer and songwriter Gwenji, new-style chamber group Sea Island & Ferry, young singer Celine Tam, and artists who participated in the "My Main Stage" programme which was founded by Chiu. Music genres cover instrumental, folk, cantopop, electronic pop, alternative and R&B (rhythm and blues).
