SFST to visit Belgium and the UK

The visit, to Brussels, Belgium, from April 13 to 15 and London, the UK, from 16 to 18, aims to promote the unique advantages of Hong Kong's financial services and strengthen the bilateral relationship with the two countries and the European Commission.
During his visit, Mr Hui will have bilateral meetings with the senior officials, financial and business leaders, as well as enterprise representatives in Belgium, the UK and the European Commission to introduce to them the latest update on Hong Kong's financial services development, in particular in the fields of fintech and green finance.
Mr Hui will also attend the Innovate Finance Global Summit 2023 to share views on the theme of virtual assets and Web 3.0. Moreover, Mr Hui will take part in a number of receptions and events, including speaking at the luncheon with the Hong Kong Association.
During Mr Hui's visit, the Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Mr Joseph Chan, will act as the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury.
