Government appoints self-recommended youth members to Committee on Venue Partnership
     The Government announced today (March 31) the appointment of two members to the Committee on Venue Partnership (CVP) through the Member Self-recommendation Scheme for Youth (MSSY) from April 1, 2023, to October 31, 2024.

     The two newly appointed members are Ms Provides Ng Tsing-yin and Ms Crystal Lee Chak-yan. Ms Ng is a PhD student in Architecture at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ms Lee holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Chinese Opera (Cantonese Opera Performance) and a Master of Arts degree in Chinese Culture. She works in an investment bank and is a Cantonese Opera performer.

     â€‹Established in 2006, the CVP comprises members of different backgrounds with a great wealth of professional expertise and experience in various aspects. The CVP advises the Leisure and Cultural Services Department on the formulation of monitoring and evaluation mechanism for the Venue Partnership Scheme. Furthermore, the Government regularly recruits young persons aged between 18 and 35 who are eager to serve the community to join the Government's advisory committees through the MSSY with a view to providing more opportunities for young people to participate in policy discussion.
