Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (March 27) that the red tide has now dissipated at Deep Water Bay Beach, Repulse Bay Beach and Stanley Main Beach. The red flags have been lowered at the Deep Water Bay Beach and Repulse Bay Beach.
However, due to big waves, the red flag remains hoisted at the Stanley Main Beach. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at the beach.
