Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre to showcase creative works of local art group (with photos)
***************************************************************

The Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre (vA!) of the Art Promotion Office will stage the "vA! Spotlight - Museum of Hands" exhibition from tomorrow (March 22). The exhibition will showcase a series of artworks featuring art installations, drawings and collage sculptures created by local art group Brainrental with the innovative use of 3D printing technology, on the theme of "Hands". Through presenting their studies on the subject of "Hands" from different perspectives, Brainrental aims to expand audiences' understanding of "Hands" and rediscover the remarkable role of "Hands" in art creation, in particular, in the trend of creating art with technology.

Brainrental is a creative trio based in Hong Kong. Making use of a myriad of humour, irony and uncanny mindset, they turn the absurdities of modern life into works in an array of forms that are intended to fuel curiosity and ignite minds of audiences.

The exhibition is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and organised by the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre. It will open from tomorrow until September 18 at vA! at 7A Kennedy Road, Central.
